originally from Philip Glass' opera Satyagraha (supposedly in Act III, Part III), titled thus in his 1989 compilation Songs from the Trilogy where many of the songs are said to have been altered or shortened from their original compositions. lyrics from text in the Hindu scripture Bhagavad Gita (part of the Hindu epic Mahabharata).
