Annotation
RV 178 and RV 449 are versions of the same concerto, the former for violin, the latter for oboe. It is not exactly clear which one is the original, and which is Vivaldi's own arrangement. According to the Ryom catalogue, "Das Werk wurde vermutlich für Oboe komponiert, siehe RV 449" ("The work was probably composed for Oboe").
